Volunteer Meeting Schedule 2011
All FOF meetings will be held from 1 - 3pm. New meeting dates will be coming soon.
The last FOF meetings are going to be held at site
Arrangement will be made to those that can not make the regular meetings
Volunteer Opportunities
If you haven't yet, please take a moment to join our yahoo group "silverleafrenfaire." This is an EXCELLENT resource for getting the most up to date information regarding volunteer opportunities.
There are SO many ways you can volunteer, all of which will count towards your opportunity to earn a Presidential Volunteer Award! Avenues in which you can volunteer your time include:
Site / Sanitation - Our dedicated site team will ALWAYS welcome assistance. Help is needed to prepare Kimball Pines Park for the Faire, keep the park neat and tidy during Faire, and restore the park to it's original state once the event is through!
Front Gate - Do you enjoy meeting and greeting the public? This could be for you! This is a great way to get involved with our patrons and welcome them to a day of wonder and entertainment! It's also an excellent excuse to pull out your favorite garb and wear it with pride!
Parking - Helping to guide our patrons in is an extremely important task! Life is always a little brighter with some direction is it not?
Remembrance Booth - Are you partial to people? Our Remembrance Booth carries various items available for sale to our patrons so they may take a little piece of Silver Leaf home! This is also an excellent opportunity to mix and mingle with our patrons.
Castle Games - What better way to spend your day than playing?! Another fantastic venue to entertain our patrons, smile with them, laugh with them, and get them involved!
Security - Keep Silver Leaf SAFE! This position does not require garb and would be excellent for someone looking to be a little more "behind the scenes." This position could require FUN and EXCITEMENT, so beware :-)
EMS - This position is constantly on the go! A medical background, specifically CPR and First Aid, is a requirement for this area. These skilled men and women are SO important to the safety of our volunteers, staff, and guests!
